Witness Statement 1

Irene McGlumpher, Age 43

I was at the anoa enclosure for a long time and I saw someone taking notes. He was smaller than me. He made me furious as he took one bite out of an apple then threw it away over there. Some people just wont use the litter bins provided.

Pablo Monet, Age 40

I was sketching Widget for my new book on endangered species. Normally I pay great attention to detail but because I was working I noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Wait a minute! A young person kept on coming up behind me (at least ten times) to see my sketches.

Angelina Semolina, Age 9

I was at the park with my Gran and Grandpa. It was great! The sun was shining all day. It was roasting! My Gran gave me an awful row for laughing at someone whose whole head was sun burned. Everyone should try to go! I was really excited about all the animals and Widget the Anoa was one of my favourites. I don’t think I can help much ‘cause lots of people were there and I was more interested in the animals. The ice cream was good too!

Iain Shent, Age 93

I didn’t stay long at the enclosure because a man kept sneezing and I don’t want to catch a cold as I’m running in a marathon next week. Sorry I can’t help you! Must dash now as I’ve got a parachute jump booked in an hour.
